Social relationships are critical for mental and physical well-being. The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly disrupted our social lives. It is more critical than ever to understand the functioning of the social brain. The Center for Social Neural Networks at the University of Tsukuba presents this international symposium highlighting recent discoveries on the neurobiological and neuroendocrine basis of social behavior and applications of social neuroscience to improve health.
