筑波大学人間系研究戦略委員会では、活動の一環として平成24年度より「人間系コロキアム」を開催しています。平成25年度からは、国内・外からの招聘講師による講演に加えて、人間系所属教員による講演を企画し、人間系所属教員を中核とした領域横断的研究の更なる推進を目指しております。平成29年度第9回目の開催となる本コロキアムでは、客員教授のキャロル・犬飼・ディクソン先生による講演会を予定しています。 教員、大学院・学類学生の他、広く多くの方々のご参加をお待ちしております。

講 演：「Opportunity and Challenges of Introducing IB into Japanese Contexts」

講演内容：
Education in the twenty first century must develop student competencies and skills that will enable them to participate successfully in a changing and unpredictable globalized world.
Inquiry based learning, which is the foundation of IB pedagogy, has proved to be a sound pedagogy for this in international school contexts.
Implementing the programmes in a Japanese national setting presents new challenges as well as opportunities.
How can these challenges be addressed to provide maximum opportunities?
